The Hut Group reports strong year

North west based online retailer The Hut Group (THG) saw its sales increase by 24 per cent to reach £916 million for the year to 31st December 2018. Its gross profit grew by 31 per cent to £417 million with EBITDA also up by 31 per cent to £91 million. Its own brands generated 59 per cent of all group sales, and international grew to represent 66 per cent group sales.

CEO Matthew Moulding commented: “This has been another landmark year for THG. Our strategic investments to develop our technology, infrastructure, brands and people, have delivered exceptional growth with 66 per cent of our sales achieved internationally.”
