M&S targets baby market

M&S Baby, a new instore and online department, is being trialled by the retailer. Nine stores are involved in the trial which will focus on maternity wear, nursery furniture and baby needs, complementing the M&S childrenswear offering. The move comes as Mamas & Papas and Mothercare are engaged in reviving their respective “fortunes” and as Kiddicare takes on a new life via its new owner Worldstores.
