Holland & Barrett closed its financial year to September 2014 with sales up by 7.5 per cent to £513 million. It opened its 1000th store in Manchester last week and now plans a further 70 new stores in the UK, Ireland and across Europe. The health products retailer also has 29 franchised stores in China where it sees a significant opportunity for growth, as well as in Benelux, the Middle East and Singapore.
