Sainsbury’s tests Click and Collect

Sainsbury’s has commenced a test of a Click & Collect service offering in an initial 18 of its stores. It proposes to roll out to a 100 more by year end. Customers are offered the option of a free slot, in return for a minimum spend of £20,  for collection of their orders from a manned refrigerated vehicle in a designated area of a chosen supermarket branch car park. Slots will be offered up until 8pm Monday to Saturday.
