Online marketplace Flubit will launch a new service called Flubit Go, in partnership with delivery technology brand On the dot.
Flubit Go will allow online shoppers to specify same-day one-hour delivery slots for millions of popular retail products. The move is designed to help independent UK retailers on the platform better compete with larger players like Amazon in the “super-convenient” fulfilment space.
From this autumn, Flubit.com customers in London, Manchester and Birmingham will be able to arrange for their purchases to be delivered within an hour timeslot of their choice, meaning they can enjoy discounted prices on a range of products, including tech, toys, books, kitchenware, baby products, beauty and more along with ultra-convenient fulfilment.
The delivery service will cost significantly less than Amazon’s same day service delivery and will be available to all users, unlike Amazon’s similar service which is only available to paying Prime users.
