Hobbs posts a strong year’s results


Hobbs has announced a sales increase of 9 per cent for the year to 28th January with gross profit also up by 8.7 per cent. The retailer, which is active in 49 countries, is headed by Meg Lustman and is owned by 3i. Lustman’s team has been  focused on improving performance over the past two years. Certain of its under performing stores were closed, ranges refined and its head office streamlined during the period. It is now understood that 3i is seeking a buyer.
