Mahabis goes into administration

Mahabis, the upmarket slipper brand founded by Ankur Shah in 2014 has ceased trading after appointing administrators KRE on 27th December, owing £2.6m to creditors. It is not yet known what caused the retailer to fail but its ranges had been seen heavily discounted in off-price retailer TK Maxx stores over the past few weeks.
