Joules has turned to its suppliers for discounts on its Spring 20 orders to help offset the US tariff on goods from the UK as well as the lower value of Sterling. This comes as the retailer is actively focusing on expanding its direct sales in the US market. Other retailers taking this tack include Sports Direct and Asos which have both asked suppliers for discounts on merchandise to reflect currency devaluation.
