Melanie Smallwood has joined Morleys as Chief Trading Officer.

Whistles has made two senior appoints. James Blacklock joins in the new role of Commercial Director, and Mo Riach joins as Design Director.

Angela Gaskell & Jonty Wilson have joined Matalan in the roles of Director of Sourcing, Purchasing & Quality and Head of Quality & Technical, respectively.

Fenwick has promoted Andrew Lerner to the role of Head of Merchandising. He was previously Merchandise Manager and has been with the retailer for over 4 years.

Helen Cowing has left B&M after less than 5 months in the role of Interim CFO. Group Financial Controller Peter Waterhouse will now assume the role until a permanent appointment is made. The retailer has also announced that Jennifer Lawrence will join as People Director on 5 May. She was most recently Chief People & Transformation Officer at Card Factory, and former CEO of Pets at Home, Peter Pritchard has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director.

Parcel2Go.com has announced Sarah Rostron as its new CMO.

Chris Browne is joining Jigsaw as its new Retail Director.

IKEA has promoted David McCabe to the role of Country Retail Manager & Chief Sustainability Officer for the UK & Ireland.

Former ASOS Buying Director, Nikki Tattersall has joined Debenhams as Chief Product Officer.

Jacqui Markham has joined John Lewis as Creative Director, a role she had previously held at Whistles.

Footasylum is searching for a new Chief Digital Officer after Mike Wallwork stepped down after 10 years at the retailer.

Tamara Rajah has joined Tesco as Group Managing Director of Healthcare. She was previously with Holland & Barrett.

Paula Nickolds is leaving her role as CEO at The White Company at the end of May.

Ganni has appointed Hans Hoegstedt as interim CEO following the departure of Laura du Rusquec.
