Very launches Black Friday Price Promise across all categories

Online retailer, Very, has launched a Black Friday Price Promise covering discounted products in every category it sells.

Under the promise, a customer who buys an eligible Black Friday offer can claim back the difference if Very later reduces the price of the same product. The protection runs for the whole of Very’s Black Friday event, from 28 October to 4 December 2026.

The main terms, as set out by The Very Group:

– It covers Black Friday discounted lines across fashion, electricals, toys, home, beauty and sports.
– It protects against later price cuts by Very itself. It does not compare prices with other retailers.
– Claims must be made through Very Customer Services by 4 December, with the account number, order number, and product and pricing details.
– It excludes lower prices from discount codes, vouchers, staff discounts, membership schemes, personalised offers, bundles, multi-buys, short-term Flash Deals and obvious pricing errors.

Very also runs an everyday Price Promise on thousands of electricals and toys, excluding DIY tools, personal care and sports equipment. Under that scheme, customers who find an identical product cheaper within seven days of buying it can claim a refund of the difference. The cheaper price has to be at one of six named competitors: AO, Argos, Currys, John Lewis Partnership, Smyths and Toyshop.

Robbie Feather, chief executive of The Very Group, said one of the biggest decisions customers face during Black Friday is whether to buy now or wait for prices to fall further, and that the promise removes that uncertainty.

The Very Group has annual revenue of more than £2bn and 4.2 million customers across its Very and Littlewoods brands. Last week it reported record adjusted earnings of £317.5m for the year to 27 June 2026.
