Express Gifts hands expanded printing brief to Pindar

Express Gifts, the credit side of Findel’s home shopping
business, has awarded Pindar Graphics further business worth
£850,000. The new deal nearly doubles Express Gifts’ use of
Pindar’s printing facilities, to £1.85 million. It extends
the companies’ seven-year relationship, predominantly with
Pindar’s Tewksbury site, to provide additional catalogue
publishing from its Scarborough and Preston locations.

Express Gifts has commissioned Pindar Graphics to produce 50
catalogues, varying in frequency and in pagination from 24 pages
to 260 pages. The flagship Studio and Ace brands will produce 12
catalogues each per annum.

Although it is ramping up its printing requirements and showing
no signs of scaling down production, Findel previously said it
was cutting back on customer recruitment, preferring to encourage
larger and more frequent orders from its established customer
base.
