N Brown and ASOS reported sales growth this week; now
it’s SofaSofa’s turn. The furniture cataloguer increased
its sales 17.5 per cent for the four-month period from 1st
January to 24th April, from £6.8 million last year to
£8.0 million, reports Wales Online. The company credits the rise
in part to greater demand for British-made goods.
More good news: RS Components is creating 100 jobs at
its Nuneaton warehouse, according to Works Management.
Now, some not-good news: “Company insolvencies soared
by 56 per cent in the first three months of the year,”
reports The Times.
Upscale fashion brand Jaeger has launched online in
the US and a number of EU countries, including France, Ireland,
Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain.
