because of delayed payments and other consequences of the snow,
reports The Guardian.
The new owner of Woolworths, Shop Direct, plans
to hire no more than 50 employees to revive the brand as an
online-only retailer, according to The Mirror. On a slightly happier note, it
plans to offer a free bag of Pic’n’Mix sweets with every order.
