The Hut Group, which operates
IWantOneOfThose.com, Mankind
and MyProtein, announced a sales growth of 70
per cent from £84 million to £143 million in 2011. For
2012, chief executive Matthew Moulding said the focus will be on
organic growth and further improving the service to customers,
continuing to expand the product range and building on the
company’s international business, which last year accounted for
35 per cent of total sales.
Some 450 repair staff and support workers have been made
redundant at Comet, reports the Sun. The move comes as a “last-ditch
bid” to turn the loss-making business around.
