Morrisons is offering thousands of its temporary staff a move to permanent roles as it continues to generate growing demand for home deliveries. The supermarket took on 45,000 temporary workers as Covid-19 took hold and it is understood that 25,000 of them are still working for the business, with 6,000 having already been made permanent.
