London Fashion Week this year set the stage for House of Holland and Metail to offer consumers the opportunity to watch House of Holland’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection on the catwalk from wherever they were – whilst being able to create their own MeModel and try the clothing on to pre-order in the right size. The live show took place on Saturday 13th September and could be viewed via wwww.tryonHouseofHolland.com offering consumers the live footage with the products displayed, in the same view, for pre-order. MeModels are created via a widget and simply require the consumer to input height, weight and bra size. This then creates an image which is a 96 per cent accurate image of the consumer’s body.
Metail’s co-founder Tom Adeyoola commented “It’s been wonderful working with Henry and his team. Metail developed the ability for women to try on clothing on their own digital bodies and this latest initiative enables all women to try on exclusive catwalk designs at the very moment they are revealed to the world. It’s a great innovation and we’re proud to be part of it.”
